And what has the Last Resting Place of the Most Holy Grail (with French taunters) got to do with it?

& have you read the rules of posting in a for sale thread. It's called an prerogative ... :)

I must say about the rack of silence they are a very good thing & Cameron assembles them too, free postage.... nah just kidding, but they are a very good rack, would hold up a multitude of 42"DD

colby, yes they are, since hearing these at audio/c for the first time I have had some great times with company & without with these speakers. i still am thinking about surrounds ,,, I honestly don;t think there is a better speaker out there today for a surround system. Unfortunately for me, I have tinitus, so I am focusing on the best front loading speakers I can afford, it's my last indulgence.........good health.

Have always been tempted by martin logans but i have been told a lot that for Home theatre that electrostatics and ribbons are just not as good as cone speakers. That the former are more for laid back music listening. Why do you feel it is so good for a surround system? Is it the sound stage it creates?

I have both - ML Odysseys and SF Extrema and I would say it is the sound stage of ML that makes it very nicely suited for HT setup. But for 2 channel audio listening, my SF Extremas - yes, 20 years old SF - does sing. Did try out other later SF models and Gryphon speakers >>> some are not as good, few are outstanding but the prices can't be justified (unless you are loaded, of course!).

I've had the pleasure of hearing this entire system, and it was superb. Whoever ends up with the speakers will be delighted in the way the 10" bass drivers integrate with the panels. You really do get the best of both worlds here - the open and airy soundstage combined with the body and bass impact. GLWS mate!

Edit: just saw the price drop - are you insane?! Bargain!
