Grumpy Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 To all the Dads have a good one and play some tunes for the family 1
Guest Willow Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 (edited) Nice sentiments Grumps. The father of five children had won a toy at the pub raffle. He called his kids together to ask which one should have the present. " Who is the most obedient ? " he asked. " Who never talks back to mother ? , Who does everything she says ? ". Five small voices answered in unison, " Okay dad , you get the toy " . Edited September 1, 2012 by Willow
cableconnoisseur Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 I'd like the toy (above) as my Fathers' Day pressie................. Happy Fathers' Day to all the SNA Dads. My wife woke before dawn and has gone to participate in the Annual Bridge to Brisbane run..................... Guess my pressie will have to wait for later on in the morning.
Batty Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 No pressies for me, I'm just gonna play some tunes.

samman Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Happy fathers day to all the Dads, hope you have a great day....
progladyte Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Well SHMBO and I had the most delightful afternoon spent with my son, his G/F her parents and sister, and my step son and his fiancee. Youngest son cooked a mammoth Coral Trout and Red Emperor in the Weber along with some yummy prawns all washed down with some brown lemonades, salad, coffee cake and some wine. I was blown away as they did a great job (not usually known for spending any of their $$$$$ on anyone else). The eldest also flicked me a $50 voucher from QBD (bookstore) which will be cashed in tomorrow. A truly great day with superb weather as usual. Hope yours was as enjoyable!
