Extra Info: I have owned these since new & they are in good condition except for a few chips on the rear of one cabinet & a few scuffs on sides I woofer dust cover is pushed in but there is no effect to their performance. Both woofers have had surrounds replaced & new cloth purchased from AR was fitted a couple of years ago.These have a superb quality with midrange & were originally purchased in preference to Yamaha CA1000! . Due to the heavy nature & size, (80 X 36 x 26cm) these need to be collected. Will supply stands N/C

I own a pair of these which I have lent to my mother and recently sold another pair to a friend (for $400). Fabulous speakers which have given me lots of pleasure over the past 10 years. Beautiful sound and provide some good base.

I have heard evil c's AR speakers many times and they still impress me.

I'm surprised he's selling them.

I can recommend these speaker if they suit your needs.

They have provided me with a significant amount of joy over the years & have a non-fatiguing accurate sound. These babies can handle a lot of amplifier muscle but will happily run with 40 - 50W a channel.

I have agonised about selling these as they still hold a special quality to me but need the space!

Thanks for your endorsement, Mr happy- sometimes you can't cling to happy memories forever & seemed like overkill to only fire up these babies at infrequent large parties.
