mattjtaylor2809 Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 (edited) SEE NEW LISTING & PRICE. Item: Monitor Audio Silver 6 Speakers (Kimber Cable Jumper Cables negotiable). “Incorporating a 6†(150mm) C-CAM bass driver, a 6†C-CAM bass/mid driver, and a 1†(25mm) Gold Dome C-CAM tweeter, the RS6 is a svelte floor-stander, equally at home in stereo and multi-channel applications. Its dynamic expression, natural voicing, and taut bass power will deliver outstanding levels of refinement and resolution†Location: Adelaide Hills Price: $799.00 Item Condition: I'd give it a 7 of 10. They’re approx. 9 years old (purchased in 2003) & in good working order. Both tweeters do have some slight damage to their gold domes & both lower bass drivers have very slight dings but I can’t hear any issues caused by these minor blemishes. Pls refer to pictures. Reason for selling: Replaced, time for a change. Payment Method: EFT to my bank account or PayPal (+3%) - details provided once sale finalized. Extra Info: Will need to work out shipping costs if outside SA as they are quite heavy; if in Adelaide metro area I can deliver. Will be packed in original box with plinths, tweeter mesh covers, spikes & bungs. This is a very reluctant sale due their consistant audio performance with both music & movies. I auditioned quite a few speakers to make the decision to move them on & I was quite impressed on just how good these speakers still sound Vs new, updated speakers including the latest MA RX6's. What Hi-Fi 5 Star winner “If transparency, sound-staging, imaging and startling clarity are among your top priorities when choosing speakers the Silver 6s is definitely a speaker you should hear for yourself. If you’re willing to pony up a little more dough I suspect you could have deeper bass and better macro-dynamics added to the package by choosing one of the Silver 6’s bigger brothers, the Silver 8 or 10. Easy to drive, easy to place, easy to make disappear, and easy to like, the Silver 6s is also easy to recommend.†Full review http://www.audio-ide...-silver-6s.html Plenty of review’s can be found if you search the internet & I’m happy to answer any questions & provide a demo. buddyev Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Matt If the tweeters are soft you can sometimes get those dents out quite easily by putting a strip of sellotape over them and gently pulling out.
