Bought my 65" Sony TV from Mustafa. $289 cheaper than Best Denki, Harvey Norman, Courts, Gain City, etc. HOWEVER, I called Goh Ah Bee and they quoted me the same price as Mustafa PLUS free home delivery. Mustafa delivery charge is $40 (bang balls!).

Lucky to get same matching price if u can give them a number for reference on the same model... provided they carries that... If they don't... something like SHARP TVs and some PANASONIC models, they can't do much to give u a matching price...

Usually I know only on the day itself via FB feed or frens' alert, by that time too late to free myself to go down... currently using downligts fm JB, taobao and afew Phillips ones.. every now n then, 1 of the JB or TB dies. Thinking of changing all to Phillips since none of them has issues so far.

When shopping for LED lights and lamps on Taobao, you must buy from 官方店 or official dealer. Cannot simply whack from any Tom, Dick or Harry seller. A lot of fakes and inferior goods. Also, Philips uses several OEM LED manufacturers in China. One of them is 欧普照明 (if I remember correctly, Osram also uses them). You can try 欧普 own LED lights and lamps. I have absolutely no problem with their products. Have been using them for years.
