Extra Info:

I have 1 matched quad of the rare 6H30P-DR tubes. These were purchased from PCX in the last 9 months & have had only 4 hrs to test for proper operation. I ordered this matched quad directly from company founder Chris Johnson who specially selected this matched quad which were tightly matched over 2 parameters. I have listed the measurements below fyi. These tubes were manufactured in 1986. I recall Chris commenting he preferred the sound of stock from that year, but Chris will tell you that all mil-spec 6h30DR's prior to 1991 all sound about the same, with very minimal variance.

I have inspected all the tubes which all display the exceptional engineering one expects of these mil-spec tubes. All stenciling is clear and unmarked with the synonymous Russian lettering denoting the DR tubes. The attention to detail and quality of these tubes is very evident. The 6H30P-DR is by far the best variant of the 6H30 family of triodes, and are rated at 10,000hrs (6H30N-EB's are rated at 5,000hrs). What can you expect from DR tubes?...a good improvement in resolution /frequency extension, noise, dynamics & durability (10,000 vs 5000hrs). These tubes are becoming harder to source, and as such prices are only going in one direction. This is your opportunity to make a significant saving on some awesome tubes!

I am happy to break up this quad to sell a matched pair if someone else wants to buy the other pair within the quad. I am happy to ship your tubes anywhere in Australia via Express Post in a shipping box with plenty of padding to ensure a safe journey.
