Not on my wrist yet but a very battered and grubby Citizen Chrono that needs bringing back to life.

I wouldn't think it would be too hard, parts would be a problem.

Mine has been ticking away for 24 hours which is a good sign, had to put through the ultrasonic cleaner in a jar of zippo fluid a couple of times to get all the oil out someone poured in there. Biggest problem I have is fixing the buttons someone attacked with a pair of pliers.

Now I have a panda bull head as well. Missing the crystal and a couple of hands, but the back still has the sticker, hopefully a good sign that the innards are still untouched.

Love the patina, the strap lugs are gorgeous, like someone pointing a finger.

I swore I’d never get a GShock as every other lad in the industry has one,  yet here we are. I ultimately got one and I like it😀.

Not on my wrist, nor in my possession as I don't have 12k to spend on a watch, but if I did I'd have this.

Love the colour and the design. I've kept an eye on it since it was 10k. Didn't seem that long ago!

I'd always advise you to try a watch on and see how it looks on your wrist.

When I tried this colour on I didn't like it at all despite loving the pictures.

Tissot Seastar presented to my father from Nylex in 1970. 15 years loyal service. The watch had stopped but I had it repaired. Has been working fine for many years now. They can be sent off and fully refurbish to look brand new.

Jeeze my boss never give me nothin. I didn't even own a working watch until a few months ago.

Very nice watch, green and silver work well, love the patina, glad they just repaired the workings.

Still think about a full refurbished but the Nylex would go. My father use to run three or more times a week often big miles. His perspiration ate the seal and got into the works. But Mr Minute sent it off to their watch makers got it going.

It's great it's got his DNA embeded in it. I would leave it, it has character.

I prefer old watches with character, just get them working.

A seventies Citizen 21 Jewel Auto and funky bevelled crystal. Just needed a basic clean and she's working well.

My advice - don't get it refurbished! It will look like a brand new Timex and will have none of the value it had being a watch your father wore.

Well currently trying to sell off watches so probably not going to spend any more on time pieces. I have these refurbished Seikos for sale on Gumtree.

Someone has taxed the motor out of the 8110 bullhead. The main spring is missing, bugger.

Just replaced the movement in my friends watch as well as give it a well deserved tidy up.

Came up pretty good I thought.

G Shock today. I like the red accents on the case and bracelet, really the only reason I bought it.

I pulled the main spring out of an old Citizen auto in the off chance if would fit the 8110. Of course it didn't,  so little watch parts are interchangeable. So I rewound it back in the original case and got the old Citizen ticking again. Has a funky bracelet and bevelled pexiglass, but runs well.

Love this watch, nice simple all chrome and silver wind up. Worked fine out of the box, just a basic clean, keeps perfect time.20240601_094713.thumb.jpg.5d7b7291100bf107b7eb615092a2630f.jpg

How much wrist hair will you lose wearing that bracelet? Nice clean example of  that watch.
