wizardofoz Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Yes thanks to Francis again for hosting another shootout. I unfortunately had to take my leave early so didn't get to see all the pre's put thru the wringer so to speak, but was suitably impressed with the differences in sound that each of the ones I heard had on the same content. Francis throwing in his own espresso variations to boot too...A very nice respite from the Aural to the Oral pleasures in life! I took a couple of pics but no time yet to get them up online...will post soon.
SteinigerGE Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Definition of a Great Shootout: 1. Great Host: Francis, thanks for welcoming us into your home again 2. Impressive DIY demos: to all the guys who brought their own, you've done yourselves proud 3. Very good coffee 4. Arriving with one preamp and leaving with 2!: Tony, thanks for letting my home trial the DIY I was most impressed with! Thanks to all the bros who showed up - either to demo their gear or just to listen. Cheers! Greg
