CDP Choice - Marantz SA8400 or SA7001? or others?

Hi,

 

Hope some bros can give some comments before I go auditioning..

 

Today, I chanced upon a NOS Marantz SA8400 going for $7xx with one year warranty..almost wanted to buy immediately, but decided to check out the specs thoroughly before deciding.

 

Am wondering if the Marantz SA7001 is a better choice as the price is about $1xx difference?

 

I am currently using a old NADC520 CDP with a NAD C372 Int Amp..speakers are Usher CP6311. I listen mainly to mainstream jazz vocals, Chinese/Cantonese MIC vocals and some pop.

 

Or should I stick to NAD C542 or C525BEE?
