Plan to change to smaller front speakers - Sunfire

Featured Replies

Hi all, am new member here...

Like to hear any advise or experience from you guys on sunfire speakers..

Iam currently plann to switch to a smaller speaker set to replace my pair of Energy Connoisseur C8. I've heard about the Sunfire CRM-2 speaker...Its rather expensive (USD800 per piece) for its size but claimed to produce great sound basing on some of the magazine reviews.I wonder if any of you own a set of this...

I thought of having these for my front and center while keeping my Def Tech Cinema pro60 as rear.

What you guys think? Is there any better speaker to recommend.

My primary drive to change this is the size...However, not sure if it is realistic but I hope I will not loss much from chaging to a smaller size speaker..(which I have enjiy my C8 pretty much)

any comment/thoughts will be much appreciated...thks

Have you been to Kingsley Audio at Adephi? They have it there retailing for SG$1200 a piece.

I demo'ed them and came away shellshocked! The sound of the ribbon tweeters are sweet! They had it hooked a Sunfire Theatre Grand Receiver so don't get fooled

thinking it'll just as awesome when you hook it up to lesser AVR. And the Sunfire receivers are really expensive too! $6k plus I think.
