kosmikstream Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Will look even good on Bluray...reviews on this movie not so good though but personally I hate movie critiques cos they are blind most of the time.I like this movie.

Doggie Howser Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 I quite enjoyed the movie for what it was... an action packed movie with good sequences and OTT action. Loved the Audi S5 as well.
Norman_Chan Posted April 28, 2008 Author Posted April 28, 2008 Will there be part 2 ? Same as the game ...ha...ha.... One Shot One Kill ....
Darthfunk Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 I have not watch it yet but it sounds like there are lots of action pack for this movie. Might get it on Blu Ray.
basspundit Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Hehe i like the game series. In the last 2 they had a gameplay rating, where you get ranked according to how well you accomplished your kill. I dun think i'll make a good assassin, i keep getting the 'Mass Murderer' rank ;D Great...this post probably flagged off some security alert by big brother...

vadimur Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 My copy of HITMAN on Blu Ray arrived yesterday and I had the opportunity to watch it last night. I really enjoy the movie, lots of action and was suprise to find a couple of chest thumping fire fight scene. If you could find a couple of chest thumping fire fight scenes, wouldn't the movie background music has more chest thumping moments throughout the whole movie?
Darthfunk Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 If you could find a couple of chest thumping fire fight scenes, wouldn't the movie background music has more chest thumping moments throughout the whole movie? The chest thumping fire fight scenes are the ones that gave my sub a good work out and shook my house. ;D
kosmikstream Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 Got it on bluray and can even copy it onto my ipod. ;D
YANG Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 SGE1815G Mark this number, the red LHD AUDI in the film.
xiao_vin Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 personally I don't like this movie. I nearly doze off when watching this remake. the plot is so dry and not much action. while in singapore scenes, the audi that 47 drove is left hand drive? very big loop hole. Robinson road so many taxis in this movie when real life there isn't any cab available? Rupert Friend really look alike Orlando Bloom. I prefer Timothy Olyphant Hitman more. One final big question mark in my mind, how did the syndicate cooperation's guard carries sub machine guns and 47 can bring his weapons to Singapore so easily? hmm..... this film completely fail
YANG Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 ......the plot is so dry and not much action. while in singapore scenes, the audi that 47 drove is left hand drive? very big loop hole. Robinson road so many taxis in this movie when real life there isn't any cab available?...... One final big question mark in my mind, how did the syndicate cooperation's guard carries sub machine guns and 47 can bring his weapons to Singapore so easily? hmm..... this film completely fail Action have la... not as impressive as MI5 lor... but still, i enjoy the "Gunplay" Waltz along with the slow rock music... sibeh John WOO inspired, can also compete with John WICK. LHD vehicles in real life on SG road have. But not with that number plate la... usually S XXXX CD, where the X are the numbers, CD represents "Consulate Drive"- as according to info given by my TP friend. I had seen Corvette(not the yellow one shown in HITMAN when the AGENT and the gal on the run from the hotel) and a PONTIAC stuck in Xmas traffic jam along Orchard Road some years ago... Product placement- you see, most of the cabs in blue or yellow... Simple, Comfort Delgro branding lor... But i think, the choice of yellow and blue, perhaps in photography view, is to highlight the red Audi ba~~ One more prominent brand placement, and quite distracting, MPH book shop. The camera keep pans to shoot the MPH logo. Lastly... this is fictional story derive from comic ley. As with any other action movies, lots of exagerrated plots, action and parts one. This may consider as a leak of the spoiler, but in the movie, this country's security is managed by a big security corporation known as the SIC. That's why you don't see NS boys from both ARMY and POLICE carry their SAR21 patrolling in the airport lah~~~ guns can be be brought in? Nothing new lah... HK 5 TIGERS already a pioneer in that liaoz, when they create a stir in CBD area also... Frankly speaking... like John WICK, this is one another pop-corn flick nia. Entertainment value for pop-corn stuff often falls on 3 and below out of 5 nia... can get 1.5 for the little humor in the movie, consider tao-chio liaoz.
westendboy Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 It is definitely not the worst movie I will see this year but it is pretty close. Everything I expected to see I see - nameless guys in suits running towards bullets, before they die they will pirouette one more time, everybody sprouting expositions in your face and just like Agent 47, my senses are completely dulled to a mindless robotic level. Everything spells cash grab of the lowest common denominator. If one compares Rupert Friend's performance between this and Homeland, you would think he deserves an Emmy for the latter. But seriously there is no acting needed with such a dumb screenplay and a plot needlessly convoluted. You can liken this to a super long Audi commercial and an outrageous Comfort Delgro product placement exercise. When the senses numbing movie drew to a close, I felt like a cloistered monk stepping out into the world of light. For 97 minutes the movie managed to assassinate every emotion inside of me. Then I started feeling something... anger. 2 / 5 PS - Don't take my word for it. My mom thought it was pretty entertaining.
