synthesis1624705793 Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Why, you can just wash it. :P Even better if the frame is made of plastic that you don't need to dry it so quickly.
kemp98 Posted March 22, 2008 Author Posted March 22, 2008 Grille gone case after washing, the grille frames just went soft. Realised they are made of cheap board. Think I will just go grilleless, not cheap if get from Wharfedale or the main distributors.
kwhv Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 Perhaps Martin Electronics at Burlington Square might be able to help you.
petetherock Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 PM Yeek He made his own grills, you need to be good with your hands or just go sans grills

kelso1624705851 Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 Hi synthesis, I got a pair of old ProAc Studio 1 Mk II that I put in storage but the foam is gone and so is the sound. Any use for it ... repairable?

Any use for it ... repairable? Aunty Martin should be able to replace the foam surround for you and it should not cost so much. You may also ask her to re-cap the crossover. There's even a kit for repair if you are keen to diy. http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=260-915 Don't throw away your fine speaker.
