cn9601 Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Please...please, anyone update ALL on the lobang of BD player at IT Show starting today at 12pm. Tks 8)
redders Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Have not visited the PC yet, but frankly what good deals you guys think will be there for blu-ray players? there are only a couple of models avail currently in SG market and the newer ones aren't released. 1) Samsung BDP-1400 SD DVD Region ? 2) LG BH200 super-blu? Btw, the format war is over already, is there any incentives for distributors to hard sell the players? I would rather think its time for them to increase price, consumers take it or leave it:P
Jason Tee Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 My friend juz went in the afternoon, base on his feedback nothing interesting. Sony BDP-S300 @$999 Sharp BD-HP20A @599 but no DTS-HD Pioneer don't know wat model but selling @2k plus :o No BD player from Samsung and LG yet :(
redders Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Sony BDP-S300 @$999 Haha, as expected. This was the price in Sitex 2007, in between then and now, its was once $799 at HN with free Spiderman trilogy BDs.
carhorn Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Side track: Those bros who got their 'SD non region free' Samsung BD-P1400 can bring their set to Samsung service centre to have it changed to region free. Just did that to mine.

astro75 Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 This round, thought can get a samsung BD-1400 at the IT show. So disappinted, there not Player at Samsung Booth. As for HN booth, there don carry Samsung brand. End up,went to M.Walk HN to buy,$599 with free 1 BD disc.Pay another $52 for 2 year warrenty. The player is update with the lastest firmware 080114.01_XSS,indeed it region free ;D. But encounter a minor problem. When I turn on the player, notice a sound inside the player, like some mechical componemt activiated. ??? So any owner noticed it?
