mikeang88 Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 Hi, I just noticed this after i upgrade my receiver to Onkyo 605. I have been using the 5 sockets power brick from Soundtec with power surge and fuse inbuilt. The following are connected to it. Receiver, BP player, DVD player, Mio + modem + Sub. I usually only try to switch on max 3 devices such as Receiver, BR and Sub. I recently noticed that the sub pop whenever I power it up. Has this to the cheap power brick? Do you think upgrading to a Xindar kind of power brick helps? If so, in what way. Thanks
epostrooper Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 no idea but my 12" cheap sub also pop when i turn off the mains--connected to wall socket directly.
