Understand from http://www.xtremeplace.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=45210.0 that there is Firmware upgrade. My receiver was under utilised as i was away from Singapore and i still have HDMI handshake problem. Realising that my warranty would expire soon, i called Wo Kee Hong. But was told the new servicing agnet is Dav Vixo since a couple of months ago. I have been calling Dav Vixo many many times for the past 2 weeks and nobody seems to know what im talking about and their promise to return my calls were not kept. Finally they ask me to call D&M. At D&M, they said the service manager is out of town and asked me to try calling on 17 Dec. Does any SR8001 owner did their firmware upgrage with Dav Vixo? Im worried they will charge me once my warranty expires.....and frustrated with the new service center.
desray Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 How can the new servicing agent for Marantz, Dav Vixo (never heard of it frankly) not acknowledging anything about Marantz products in the first place?! Since calling doesn't solve the issue, I suggest you pay them a visit and talk to them personally.
