blackburn Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 it is the cheapest projector with lens shift capabilities and it includes the silicon optix hqv processor found only in very expensive projectors, which means that all your interlaced signals will result in beautiful pictures. and the projector is made even more attractive by the sub us$1000 price tag in the usa. i say get it too ;D http://www.xtremeplace.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=47762.msg361233#msg361233
weiht Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Im also looking ard for a 720p projector. N looks like im leaning towards the epsons powerlite or sanyo z5, and like blackburn said, its really cheaper to bring it in considering the usd is now onli $1.41. But im not sure how much it cost to ship it over with vpost, and whether there will be any issues with voltage difference. Looking to pair with a 100" screen, any bigger will be abit discomfort to the eye for my small room, abt 4-4.5m away from screen.

Many Thanks! bought it from the sitex show in nov'07.. it cost $1899 for w500 + free 80" projector screen plus + up scaling DVD player. i negotiate with them for a lower price as i don't need a DVD player, and they give me a $200 off.. so i only paid $1699 for it. He also told me that need any replacement lamp for anything regarding projector i could get it form him directly. Told me around $300 bucks for a lamp, which is very cheap compare with the rest. He was the one whom told me to use as much as i wanted as there is a replacement for lamp within 3 year of useage and there will be 3 years warranty for my set. Why not wait for the PC show coming up this March.

mlksh Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 The 3 years warranty covers On-site Parts & Labour but not the Lamp. The Lamp is given a 1-year unlimited lamp hour warranty which covers 1 free lamp change if the projector lamp breaks down within the first year. There will be no limitation to the number of hours that the user uses the projector within the year. Once the Lamp fails within the year of purchase, a new lamp will be replaced FOC. You may want to drop by to Shaw Tower Level 2 Music Link for a more detailed presentation.
