Advise on more musical upgrade for my system.

Hi all,

 

I need some pointers to upgrade my current system to get the most optimized musical gain out of a budget of about $500; but I'm not very sure where I should approach. Currently I'm using the following for listening to CDs:

 

AV Receiver: Denon 2307

CDp: PS3

Front Speakers: JMLab 714V

Cables: Belden 1313A.

 

I was thinking of changing my Denon AVR to Marantz 7002. Would this give me the most musical gain? Or should I get a decent CDp? And maybe power Amp along with a decent CDp?

i think changing to a stereo amp and getting a decent CDP is needed.

can considering venturing to a warm side and get a mini tube fm ebay, a sure boost, n yes, a dedicated cdp, even entry level models will make a difference,  :)

or a tube buffer after the cdp ;)
