imbest Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 I see almost no discussion about LG....why huh? coz of the price?
synthesis1624705793 Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 I'm using 42" LG SD plasma. Good enough for me.
imbest Posted November 2, 2007 Author Posted November 2, 2007 bro synthesis, which model you bought from ? How long already? Those salesmen ah, very bad one, kept saying LG no good. They said the color purplish lah, double coating lah, this and that ..... walao, I thought all these can be calibrated or self adjusted one? The only worry I have is, LG may not be as lasting as other brands. The only LG thingy I used in my new house is the Lucky solid surface top product hehe....not into Goldstar yet.
synthesis1624705793 Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Mine is already 1.5 yrs. So far no major functional issue. Only have color smearing problem from component connection when (I guess) the source is not so good. LG technician could not help me on this issue, but probably already rectified in newer model. With good DVDs PQ is quite good. TV program from SCV is good. At least LG makes their own glass unlike some of those Japanese brands.
imbest Posted November 2, 2007 Author Posted November 2, 2007 I noticed a lot of corporates are using LG, like beauty salon, fundsupermart etc...... uhm....1.5yo, SD meh? 42" should be XGA bah?
synthesis1624705793 Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 uhm....1.5yo, SD meh? 42" should be XGA bah? You sound like few salesmen whom I encountered before, claiming all plasmas were HD. 8)
imbest Posted November 3, 2007 Author Posted November 3, 2007 er..i meant, if your 42" is XGA resolution, not considered SD right? but HD-ready?
imbest Posted November 3, 2007 Author Posted November 3, 2007 oh....yours is not XGA model lah. chey...hehe... but very good for SD, even downscale 576i signals!
