neji_kun Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Hi All, I have a question on mono power amp. My new mono power amp is biwirable (inside has 2 transformer per piece) but my speaker is non-biwirable. When I connect to the speaker, do I need to short the speaker post at the amp side ( +ve to +ve and -ve to -ve ) ?
Transworld Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 Before any feedbacks, what brand & model is the amp?
hifiluv Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 shorting is done at speaker end, if ur speaker accept only 1 set of terminal, then only need to use 1 set of cable out fm your amp side. don't think u will hv "double power" if u out both sets of terminals to speaker.

Unless the circultry allows bridgeable which means channels A + B.
