firefly0071 Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 I am looking forward to potential higher end DAB+ component radio tuners. I have my sights on an Arcam T32
Paul Spencer Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 Hopefully this is the beginning of a trend that will continue, I think it will be a very good thing for the industry.

Drizt Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Anyone got a feel for whether or not this event is going to be successful? It would be interesting to take a survey of the vendors at the melb event to find out if they thought they got their money's worth? I wonder how many vendors from the melb show will ante up again for the syd show? Hopefully they don't get greedy and start charging more per room or that will likely have a negative effect on the number and quality of vendors at the syd event. Anyone have any info on all this?
Guest JohnA Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 well i enjoyed the Melbourne show and am going to go to the sydney one also. It was great having them all in the one place, regardless if the rooms were setup properly or not. We got to view so many products, and was great to see so many local manufacturers there. I do hope it was worthwhile for then and that these kind of shows do continue and are a huge success to all
kramered Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 It was a resounding success in terms of attendance (the crowds everywhere and rego queues easily confirmed that) and from all reports it was just as successful for the exhibitors. We're really looking forward to the Sydney Show. EK

EK I know it isn't really feasible but.... it would be very interesting to see the sales figures for each of the vendors to see if the exposure actually resulted in more sales than normal.
Krispy Audio Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 I'll be at the Sydney show. I imagine it could be tough to gauge ROI though; due to the nature of the industry where many purchase decisions are far from spontaneous.
