astro75 Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Hi, Any Member had above mention set up for HT? Keen enough to comment.. I more to 80% movies(especially action pack) When to kec demo, quite ok for my as a fresh blood.. ;D Going to set up 7.1 system..
Ong Hai Peng Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 I have the Pro60s. The soundstage and sonic details are quite incredible for their size. In the past I always advocate floorstanders for that big soundstage until l hear these babies. The lower frequency ability of <70hz is a rarity among miniature speakers. That means you can also use them with older receivers with fixed crossover as low as 80Hz. Their size also ease placement limitations in tight spaces and they generally have good WAF, if they are concerns to you. I believe the Pro 600 should be even better and should be a great choice!
redevils Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Me too keen on this pro 600, seen to have good review on this sat/sub 5.1 system. astro75, may i know how much it cost?
astro75 Posted October 18, 2007 Author Posted October 18, 2007 Sorry can't really give you ther actual price. Cos it match & mix with other Sub.

ptey Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 ohh, ok, i think i give KEC a call up on the pricing. U mean it could mix around with the 800 and 1000 ? I have 1000 for my front and centre, 800 for the surr. and 600 for the back surr. and 1000 sub. So far so good.. ;D
ptey Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 How is the stereo performance? For me, I think is good. But it could be better.
Knight_Rider Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 For me, I think is good. But it could be better. If can find bookshelf replacement will be best.
ptey Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 If can find bookshelf replacement will be best. No, I mean better AMP for stereo.
astro75 Posted October 19, 2007 Author Posted October 19, 2007 I have 1000 for my front and centre, 800 for the surr. and 600 for the back surr. and 1000 sub. So far so good.. ;D That a great set up.. Think of using 800 for the L/C/R,600 for the surround/back.. As for the sub most likly using the Velodyne CHT10R,,more stable playing Lord of the ring at my living room..

I went to KEC for audition before deciding my configuration, 800 for L/C/R is OK for movie, but for stereo it is a bit "narrow", I dont know the right word for it. When I hear the 1000 L/C/R from the same source, I immediately notice the different and confirm straight away. :)
