Hi, I don't know anything about Blue Ray or HD DVD, but I just jumped in an ordered a Samsung 1400 for US $408/-  for Amazon. Pretty cheap considering Harvey Norman selling the older model Samsung 1000) for $1000/- I bought Planet Earth for US $66/-.

 

I don't anything about BR or HD DVD, so when my package arrives I may need your advice, TIA. :D
