mailmail Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Hi, actually i do not know which model should i buy. Initially i was thinking of buying Sharp LC-32PX5M but recently Sharp release this new model LC-32A53M This new model is equipped with 100hz and Dynamic Contrast Ratio 7,500:1 but price difference about $300. i mainly use this TV to watch movie from DVD or from pc DVI ouptuta ,play PS2 and PS3(when the price drop) on my bed about 2metre away. From my understanding that 100hz will improve the blur image when playing fast motion movie ie.too fast to furious. But will i able to tell the difference? Does this 100hz worth to pay another $300 more ???
HT102 Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 IMHO, yes. Read Karlie's post: http://www.xtremeplace.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=48029.msg350342#msg350342
redevils Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 I just receive my Sharp 37A53M last week, PQ for SD-DVD using upscaling player (oppo 980) very good. i compare it with PX5M side by side at best denki b4 my purchase using their upscaling dvd player, PQ for A53M seem more natural and nicer. For the 100hz/120hz fine advanced motion. there a difference when i watch some fast action scene. There actually a demo button on the TV controller, is hidden under the flip cover, u can ask the salesman to show it to u, it will spilt the screen into half, 1 side with fast motion on, 1 side is set off.
