may be goin for megadeath 1  been hearin their music

since my sec sch days

Yeah me too. But I'm only a fan of their earlier albums (Killing Is My Busniess, Peace Sells, Rust In Peace)...kind of lost touch since then. Their sound has changed so much since then, just like Metallica.

for those of us who went to the shows last night and tonight - that was one helluva heavy metal weekend!!!  ;D

Megadeth took to the stage late but made up for it with a great show where they played a couple of extra songs - especially Shewolf!!! - that they didn't do for Thailand and Jakarta. it felt really great to hear Dave Mustaine declare that it was gonna take more than just his house burning down to keep him from cancelling the show - respect man!

i do hope that the next time they tour, they'll come back here again.

As for Black Sabbath, er... 'Heaven and Hell  ;D they truly showed that they were the godfathers of Metal with a truly astounding show. Ronnie James Dio can really sing even at this age - amazing man! Tony Iommi didn't say much at all and just let his guitar do the talking - it was absolutely mesmerising to see the man play. Geezer Butler was pounding away on his bass and Vinne Appice was fantastic especially went he was doing his drum solo.

the defining heavy metal moment for me was to hear the entire crowd sing 'Heaven and Hell' - this is one night that I am going to remember for a very long time to come  ;D
