If I were a HT enthusiast, i'd still go pro-audio DIY route. 

;D  BTW, high performance pro audio amps (quite a lot of digital, active cooling etc) and pro audio drivers for HT big big big difference hor.

I know some have tried pro audio amps for HT and don't like it.
