Suddenly no TV Text....what's the problem ?

My TV used to be able to show Teletext..now it's gone..

 

is it SCV issue or TV issue ??

do not use digital connection. Use analog connection like Component cable instead of HDMI.

check for loose connection head from tv point to SCV box / TV.

I am using RGB connection to my SCV digital Setup box..

 

Will changing to better cable provide better picture quality etc?

My guess is a TV issue. Any other TV you can try using the same TV outlet.

You can call SCV and ask their advice.

Encounter the problem once. The connector connecting the scv box is loose. The TV pic is ok but text page is blank. I take out the connector and reconnect again, the text came back.

RGB can't view Text. Only composite.

sorry.than my connection is composite...

 

becos it could read TEXT when I first set up... :)

Latest Update:

 

double check on connection....all very tight on both side (tv and setup box)

 

 

so what I did was, power down both TV and SCV setup box...

 

 

and power up again....and my teletext came back to live !

normally is scv issue.

Yup i also have the same issue sometimes want to check 4D then "No teletext available" As least can check online  ::)

Just power off and on yr main switch and let yr setup box re-boot, you'll get back yr teletext.
