jayson1624705825 Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Video library cheaper, $3-$4 per disc no package deal, rent and stop anytime you want, nothing is lost if you stop renting for 1 or 2 wks. not forced into taking a specific amount of disc which sometimes you do not watch. Some Video library also carries R1 and R6 title which i do not think the listed people has and also if you are familar with the library they can recommend and reserve movies for you and waive off overdue charges

Some Video library also carries R1 and R6 title which i do not think the listed people has and also if you are familar with the library they can recommend and reserve movies for you and waive off overdue charges know of any video library that offered R1 disc ?

I brought a copy but only saw it once on the shelf so i gather they must have very limited copies. however check with my friends they always shop at Blue Max ;D ;D by the way, BSMoan is not a great movie but, it has a lot of M18 scenes with Christina Ricci ::)

These online rental definitely carry more classics and foreign titles. Otherwise its quite a waste of the services...you should just rent at your nearest rental store :)
Protocol1624705808 Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 I've gone for Hollywoodclicks for abt 2 yrs, then switched to HomePal for almost a year before I terminated the subscription recently ... felt that they bring in alot more non English titles (eg. Korean DVDs which I'm not interested in) than English titles ... will consider to continue with Hollywoodclicks again for it's somewhat larger selection ... did not choose Videoezy cos still feel that their selection is not as large as the other 2 ... Some plus points for HomePal is that it operates on Saturday as well, and occassionally it has re-released DVDs or the 2 disc ed of selected DVDs. For those who wishes to rent from the DVD rental shop, I'll still recommend Gramophone ... Besides, they tend to have slightly more R1 DVDs than those online stores ... I think ...

HomePal engages an independent Credit Card Company to carry out billing. Members who cancel their membership with HomePal after having satisfied the above Membership cancellation pre-requisites, must then proceed to cancel FuturePay Agreement with the Credit Card Company Now what do they mean by that? must then proceed to cancel FuturePay Agreement with the Credit Card Company. I've used others...and usually you just empty your queue...and click the cancel button and confirm...thats all? Protocol...or anyone else who have used HomePal? Could you help to clear that up for me...Thanks.
