simic Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 This bugger seems like a cheap and good 720p DLP. I like DLP and I dont have problem with long throw and offset. Thinking of buying... Any other budget projectors I should look at?
Doggie Howser Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 My friend was quoted ard 2k from KEC for the Optomo 720p HD2+ Decent zoom as well. How much is the Mitsubishi?
simic Posted September 6, 2007 Author Posted September 6, 2007 My friend was quoted ard 2k from KEC for the Optomo 720p HD2+ Decent zoom as well. How much is the Mitsubishi? 886US$ from amazon. Its only avail in US, so have to vpost over. after factoring everyting, should be less than 1600SGD.
Doggie Howser Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Guess you need to factor if it meets yr needs. Frankly, I was pretty surprised you could get the Optoma for that price, and it's a pretty short throw lens. Personally prefer to buy from local unless the prices are too exorbitant or unavailable aka XA2

SteinigerGE Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 886US$ from amazon. Its only avail in US, so have to vpost over. Just curious, but why would you use vpost when Amazon does a very good job of shipping and generally replaces lost or broken shipments without questioning you? I'm just wondering why anyone still uses vpost?

Dixivisual Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 I owned Mit HD1000U, gd projector for me and its cheap for a 720p DLP. If you read the review its not much of a diff betw mine and 1500 but the attractive part is the price at US$800 plus for the latter. I got it via vpost also no problem at all of course what everybody worry is warranty which only applies in states and not local. I take the risk and no regret
