Hi Bro. Will this show be published in papers. Cos dun recall in previous years of such event in papers. Earnst of NDV says usually a free LPCD33 will be given out. Unfortunately LPCD45 is given only in HK Hi Fi show  ???

Must make a point to go. $10 entrry fee for free LPCD.  :P

The show approaches, so anyone going there?

Can meet up for a cuppa and compare notes...

Might look for some new HD players there if the Samsung is launched...

Its 16th to 18th Nov.... same venue (Meridien), this year, price is $12 for a one day pass. I'm not sure 3 day pass how much.  Last few yrs was $10 for 1 day pass, $20 for 3 day pass.

 

Many complained that the free LPCD33 given last yr is no good. . Well, I think although it may not be the best recording I've heard, but reasonably good.  What the Heck, its FREE.   And it certainly sounds better than some of the Chinese pop cd which i paid for between $17.95 to $22.95.  ;D

Too bad i only can make it on the 18th.

the free LPCD, 1st listen not much impression but subsequently it sort of grow into u and began to enjoy it and.....play it on tube lah.... ;D

 

as a comparison, the tracks on the free LPCD for the 05 show has more character compared with the 06 show

 

Dunno where I put my LPCD. I had two as a result of bringing friend there. This will happen to me this year also.. :P Anyway, I will be around for sure just to check out the latest. Got reservist during this period so weekdays out!

This year, entry fee will cost $12.

is the participants list out? hopefully it will still be mainly a hifi event rather than HT or another HD "launch"...

bearing in mind its $12/entry, over a lunch time, u may not be able to max the value.  last yr show, i was there at 11am and stayed until 7pm closing time, savouring every demo, with some, like the Dynaudio room, ended up going back for repeat doses...really smashing sound... ;D
