FookLai Posted August 24, 2007 Author Posted August 24, 2007 but need to pay TV license nia..... how old is it? antenna included? The Humax is few months old but seldom use, that's why selling. I thought everyone has to pay TV license? ;D Fook Lai
imbest Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 it depends on how you manipulate the device and make it unable to receive free-to-air signal, then you do not need to pay TV license :) I dun have a TV at home yet, so if I remove the hubstation tuner, i dun need to pay.
kzone Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 tv license? What if I someone subscribe to SH or MIO but use it only on PJ.. no tv, but still need to pay? ;D ;D
imbest Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 actually the TV license is at the tuner, or any device that's able to accept free-to-air channels. Since starhub's DVB-C signal carries the free-to-air channels too, you need to pay the TV license. Unless you call up starhub and ask them to block all the free-to-air channels, then you dun need to pay lor, which is unlikely to happen :D The hubstation has dual channel, lagi worse.....unless u know how to hide them properly or make it look like a cable modem.
