:) Thanks Tommy for all the help and info ! He can be communicated directly & speedily via JohnBlue's e-mail. A patient & helpful chappy indeed !

I am thinking of getting the modified Usher 520 from him. He has stocks for the "black" at the moment....any better with the modifications, ANYONE ? I thought ORIGINAL is nearly always better !

If you use/need and preamp, this thing is a no brainer for the money, most transparent pre I have ever heard, with so much programability to boot.
