Currently there's a promotion for PS3 games at Sony Gallery, buy 2 get 2 free. For the 2 free games, you can choose 1 from list A, and 1 from list B. If I am not wrong, the promotion ends on 2 Sept. I got Ridge Racer 7 and Motorstorm, and got Power Smash and Ninja Gaiden for free! I paid only $164, which amounts to only $41 per game. ;D

It's a sad fact that Sony focussed so much on the hardware that they totally neglected the software side of things and they are paying big time on this having lost exclusive franchises for a lot of top end games. Very sad.

Its up to the shops. You can get the local/Asian version of Ninja Gaiden for $90 or slightly less, need to shop around. You probably saw the US version which is more expensive because its an import, and because its in higher demand (the Asian version has some censorship, ie less bloody, which doesnt affect the gameplay itself).
