ahhian Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 I have recently acquire a collection of flac lossless files. Would like to know from the gurus here which mp3 players do you recommend for playing such files. Big capacity is much appreciated as 10 songs can be easily be about 500mb. Thanks. Cheers
DanDon Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 I own a flac mp4 player but is only 4GB. So I have a mixture of wma and flac files to save capacity for more songs.
weibchen Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 I audio or I river players. If you don't mind the size, I audio X5L provides a very good VFM 30 Gigs plus the battery can last you 1 week at least. Plus the SQ performance is not lacking, im using one.

Thanks bro I did a quick check on the internet and seems that not many players support flac. iAudio is the most popular ones I guess. Just want to get more options for flac support :)
weibchen Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 i doubt any teenager would be bothered if its 128kps or 320kps. thats why not many companies bother to have FLAC or APE support. I too want to upgrade my DAP but it seems not many options too :-\

Dunno whether its sold in S'pore, if not, I may be tempted to get from Amazon :) http://www.trekstor.de/en/products/detail_mp3.php?pid=66&cat=0
