Any advise for max cable length to run for a active subwoofer?

I am planning to run around 12m to 15m for my subwoofer cable

to my active subwoofer..

Will it be advisable?

Thanks.

where - out of curiosity - are you putting your sub? :)

Beside my sofa..

Just that I am going to run the cable on the wall behind the HTS then celling then wall

behind the sofa then to the sub..

I can just do it shorter by running the cable on the floor but my kids will 'play' with it

as I got no carpet on floor..

Any better advise?

if you got wall section on either left or right side, you can hide it in the wall section as well.

Shorter run, cheaper and generally less noise/signal noise although I doubt anybody can tell the diff.  ;D ;D

Hmm...

I was about to install my new MA RSW-12. As I've waited for ages to get this kit, so I follow the book on everything.

Interestingly, it's mentioned that lenght of RCA (subwoofer) cable should not exist 10M to prevent electronic interference. :o

I might want to double check if I were you. I am probably lucky as the longest run that I will ever have will be less than 6-8 meters.... ;D
