erwin1624705856 Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Situation: A brought speaker from B 3 months ago. B having a promotion after 3 months, A want to return the speaker and upgrade to a higher series by only top up the different between the purchase price and promotion price. Do you think B should entertain A?
Guest jonlee Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 3 months! NO. B should not entertain A. Even in the US where u can return a good for full refund, it is also only 1 month.
louco73 Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Absolutely no way that someone should expect to be able to top up after 3 months. You really should change your title. "Please help" is meaningless. I only took a look because I saw Jonlee had replied. :)
dmateo Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 if everybody can do this, we'll be rich. A buy share at 12 dollar. Market crash after 3months to 10 cents. A says to exchange/broker house that hi would like to sell his share at 12 dollar and upgrade to Y share... nach mate, sorry to say but this will never work in real life under normal circumstances. Abnormal circumstances such as, you point a gun on his head, you are strong candidate running for PM, you hold his/her precious for ramson etc etc. ;)
armoury Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 Top-up after a week is probably not unreasonable, since the buyer now has a chance to listen in the actual-use surroundings. But 3 months is too long, the speakers are clearly "used" by then and cannot be traded in at full purchase price. But at a lower trade-in price is perfectly reasonable.
