wuga98 Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 anyone has experience with this product before, they have a Solo:movie 5.1. Pls share, Thanks. ???
HT102 Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 I loved the older Solo but its price (2 years ago) in excess of S$3k turns me off.
SiriuslyCold Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 "At £2000 the Solo Movie is a absolute bargain in the context of the performance it delivers, competitor's prices and the Flat Screens it will be used with." (more) right. I suppose it's targeted at the Bose crowd, with better sonics (presumably)
wuga98 Posted June 8, 2007 Author Posted June 8, 2007 i think about 2000 pounds, not sure about SG and who carries this. :) how much is the Solo:Movie 5.1?
SteinigerGE Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 Monsoon carries it, but if you're going to drop that much on a HTIB, why not spend a little more and go for their AVR 350 Receiver (you would still need a DVD player or a PS3....)? If you want to spend more, I highly recommend the AVP 700 Processor (I use it in my home theatre room) but avoid the P1000 7.1 channel power amp, it's okay, but you can get more for your money. I bought one and was disappointed with it for listening to stereo music, but now use it to biamp my left and right surrounds and for the surround backs. At the top is the AV9 Processor which is an amazing piece of kit for both HT and music and has the price tag to match.
