f_spider Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 Looking @ England line up, i see same old faces.......... ::) will obviously, get d same old results (juz like World Cup 2006)........... DEFEAT :-[ New players , who r HUNGRY( unlike d superstars) to perform, should b given d oppportunity , instead :-* I won't b surprise, if they kena kick out :P Tonite , they gona play BRAZIL , i surely won't miss this game, although its only a friendly , i hope both teams won't b pulling up their handbrakes, but their socks instead ;)
Spunky Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 It will be no different from the Eriksonn's days!! ;) I don;t think he has the guts to drop either Lampard or Gerrard (more like Lampard coz Gerrard is chow chow still vice captain!). He must be damn relieved that Hargreaves is not available!! ;D Think they will suffer without a proper holding guy in midfield. Terry and Carra will not be able to cope with the flair of the brazilians!
yellowhandman Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 drop lampard. lampard + gerrard = doesn't work. lampard + ballack = doesn't work. what is the common problem?
FookLai Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 If England can win next 3 games at home vs Isreal, Russia and Estonia, plus not losing in last 2 match, away to Russia and at home vs Croatia. They should be able to qualify at least as runner up...
armoury Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 The British meeja always gets so carried away when it comes to the England team, and its players: one good game (heck, just half-decent) and they're crowing about how this is the best team since 1966 and they're going to win the tournament, one poor game and they harp about everything negative. You've gotta wonder why any sane manager would even consider becoming England manager.
dbchoong Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 You've gotta wonder why any sane manager would even consider becoming England manager. If they pay me at least half of what they paid SGE, I'll do it! ;D
armoury Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 If they pay me at least half of what they paid SGE, I'll do it! ;D In other words, what McLaren is being paid...
yellowhandman Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 In other words, what McLaren is being paid... is he really on the same salary a SGE? that's ridiculous...at least SGE has won the scuderia before...what has mclaren ever done? apart from winning the treble with united, of course ;D
SiriuslyCold Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 I think he meant half of what SGE was paid. which was too much
yellowhandman Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 I think he meant half of what SGE was paid. which was too much so half of too much = one much? :P sorry...that wasn't funny, was it?
yellowhandman Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 not really. apologies. i had already typed it, and was too lazy to delete... ;D
armoury Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 is he really on the same salary a SGE? that's ridiculous...at least SGE has won the scuderia before...what has mclaren ever done? apart from winning the treble with united, of course ;D Scudetto, you mean. Scuderia usually means Schumacher's F1 team. Oh hang on, he's retired, Ross Brawn's then. Oops, he's not there either. OK, Jean Todt. Eh, he's moved upstairs? No wonder Ferrari are having a bit of a bad run... (And well done Hamilton for winning his 6th ever F1 race. Must be the fastest in recent history, although apparently back in the day someone actually won his first ever F1 race.)
