petetherock Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 Hi friends I am new at streaming, wireless etc Just heard from a friend that his PS3 can do wireless music streaming. Can I ask bros here to point me to some places to read more, and also answer this: I have an old PC and a MAC - no wireless I just want to hook them up to my hi fi to listen to music, and later on add a PS3 to my HT setup to listen wireless to the music on the audio / PC setup, how should I do this? My plan for my audio (itunes based) PC is to hook it up to a newly bought Dared MP5 tube amp to my MA RS1 in a audio setup, but I am looking at streaming it to my HT based setup. Thanks for answering. P
Phil1624705739 Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 You will need a DLNA-compliant server in your network. One readily available software which supports DLNA is Windows Media Player 11. You will need to enable media sharing and remote access for your PS3. If everything goes well, you should be able to see the PC in the PS3 navi.
