Soundbyte_audio Posted May 4, 2007 Posted May 4, 2007 I notice there are LCD TV show the following Supported display resolution: Supported Display Resolution Video formats : 640 x 480i - 1Fh, 640 x 480p - 2Fh, 720 x 576i - 1Fh, 720 x 576p - 2Fh, 1280 x 720p - 3Fh, 1920 x 1080i - 2Fh Does any "gurus" know what 1Fh, 2Fh an 3 Fh means? Is it the same as 25 Hz or 60 Hz refresh rate? Thanks.
desray Posted May 4, 2007 Posted May 4, 2007 I believed so...maybe its something to do with how many 'ms' achieved by some LCD Monitor Display. Say 2ms (fastest to date) on a say 22" LCD Display - pretty fast hence no 'stuttering' or 'juddering' image effect. Maybe Fh has something to do with speed - i.e. Refresh rate?
Soundbyte_audio Posted May 4, 2007 Author Posted May 4, 2007 Thanks Desray... Assuming on the 1080p - source (i.e. Blu Ray or HD DVD) on a 1080i screen witht he spec stated below can I assume it is about 25 Hz- 30 Hz? And not 60 Hz like the computer display? Does it sounds right? Thanks.
