Dear all,

I have just purchase a new SR7001 for my HT for a set of speakers that was bought quite some time ago by my brother (found it in some storeroom and unused so not too sure if it is working fine). Both the side speakers and center speakers are 4ohm and the surround speakers is 6ohm.

The brand of the side speaker is Jamo D830 and the surround and center and sub are matching Jamo D8 or something. Do you think the amp can power it sufficiently? I have tried bi-wiring on the main speakers but the bass sounds a little bit wierd... any expert who live around Sengkang wanna help me a little bit? Thanks.

Bro, make sure you get the bi-wire connection right first.

Refer to your manual, do your amp has an impedence selector of some sort? Select  8 ohm or higher to get better dynamics. Remember to provide ample ventilation for your amp.
