Cheers Dirtrun Hi bro Dirtrun, I was abt to pull the trigger in buying the Panny PT-AX100, but after I read abt your comments I was a little bit reluctant to buy it. Could u pls juz share with me what is the main considering factor that let u change ur mind. For e.g is it realibility issue or picture quality ?? Thks if u can advise on this or can u provide me the link if it is too much for u to explain to me here. :) Cheers, detusche

Jason Tee Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Hi Bro Dirtrun, thks for providing me the Link, it has been a very informative read up on the PT-AX100. Now I really know what are some of the flaws on this pj. I am curious which rival 720p pj did u end up buying in the end so that I can make a comparison before deciding. :) Cheers, detusche

Cheers and do let us know what you end up wif. Dirtrun

Anyway I think LCD TV will suit me more better. ;D Cheers, DJQ

Also Flat Panels are plug and play whereas FP need a lot of other things to be done first... Cheers Dirtrun
Jag Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 FP and FPD are for totally different market altogether. FP is for those who want to have that theater feel of the big screen impact. FPD is for those who want a no hassel, plug and play TV. The PJ is NOT a TV.

Agree :) i do not have a special/light control room for PJ. everything will be in my living room. thats why i chose the latter. "TV"

"TV" Hi, I agree also... But de overwhelming desire to have a big picture made me go for Front Projection and I don't have lite control either but then again I seldom watch in de daytime anyway... To each his own... Dirtrun

Dirtrun yeah yeah... true true we watch at night only. hehe. maybe next time future i got spare room then i will think of PJ... :)
Jason Tee Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 Hi bro DJQ, you shld have found some way to install the PJ. i have got the Panny PT-AX100 in my delicated room. so far i have been enjoying every moment of it. ;D using HDMI from my Denon 1930, i got 1080p to be displayed. of coz understand that the panny is only 720p, PQ was very much better than using components which only supports 480p. so far so good didnt see any flaws other forumers saw. maybe i 1st time watch PJ, the leap was very big as compared to my 29" CRT TV. ;D ;D ;D
