dude Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Thanks to the kindness of fellow xtremers, I managed to buy my very first AV Receiver! yay! Now, if I may, I'd like to ask if anyone would recommend me some cables. I gonna build the rest of speakers, but I have the front ones. Floorstanders. Should I be getting the component cables? Any particular brand? I'm not rich, so the best sound per dollar would be my main focus. Thanks a bunch
Guest jonlee Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Belden or Canare for component cables. Belden or Canare or Klotz for speaker cables. All available from LHS (name of the shop), #2 Sim Lim TOWER. For the models of the cable , do a search of "LHS" here and u will run into plenty of options.

I Thought they'd only carry the interconnects? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I did buy my klotz speaker cables + interconnects @ Hung Brothers a few years back. When I started my hobby again, I was told Klotz speaker cables aren't available in short lengths, but only in whole reels (eg 100m lengths). ???
