This is a superb DVD for any Madonna fan. Eventhough she looked aged and wrinkles are starting to show, her showmanship is still top notch. The props and the supporting dancers are all very good and very well choreographed.

The DVD is good with excellent DTS and heart pounding beat. 2 hours all in with the controvesial Live to Tell song.

Must Buy!!

I am under the impression that this Concert DVD is 'banned' in SG. But another thread by a forumer mentioned that it will be appearing on the shelves in our market soon.

Can anyone confirm about the availability? Last night I am about to order online :P

If its going to be available in SG, then I'll wait for it. :)

My copy bought from stores in Europe, in particular in Barcelona.  Saw it in Paris but came back could not find it in Singapore at all.  I thought it will come soon....but.....

Costs more in Euro.....

I got the R1 version. My friend was in NY when it was released. It was reported in the papers that the dvd is banned because of the crucifixion scenes. Unless SG is going to release a local version without the 2 songs using the cross as a backdrop. Which is a shame if it really happens because those 2 songs had very strong visuals which accompanied the songs well.

Guys

I am pretty sure the local version will not have the crucifix clip. Its very blaspameous (sorry spelling wrong) to show Madonna on the cross and wear the crown of thorns with simulated blood droplets. The DVD is 2 hours long and is worth every single cent for an imported version. Get the double CD DVD version if you have a choice. The last song is very hipnotic and I find my self grooving to it. Hopefully my neighbours did not catch it as its not a nice scene for a near middle age guy to do that. ;D

I think I got to attend her concert within this lifetime.

cheers

Was told by MDA that for personal consumption of DVD, they are not strict on the regional code,

meaning if a R3 version of a particular title is avail locally, then if U were to bring in the R1 version

(which officially is banned in local stores), MDA will still let U take back the R1 DVD from them ...

Wonder if the above is true ...  ::)

They could have meant that if the content is identical. It doesn't make sense otherwise.

If iam not wrong i saw a copy at gramophone @ cityhall on tuesday. It was selling like $60 plus IIRC. I cant remember which region though. I may be wrong.

I tot so too ... but Gramophone says it's currently stuck at MDA ... the outcome is either gonna be a censored version (like GM's 25) or totally banned ...
