belden 1530 is good enough actually for antenna cable.....in fact its much better compared to the ones u can find at NTUC or hardware/diy shops

its the same cable used by starhub to wire up our hdb flats.

otherwise belden 1694A (3/m) or 7731A (9/m) if that makes u feel better.

The 1694 can be used for all the uses you mentioned (of course, type of connector will depends on your equipment).

Canare connectors are available for all the connections you mentioned.

I'm using this cable for all the uses you mentioned too.

U may want to try the Belden 7731A, S$9/m from LHS recommended by Robert.

A few bros like chowbotak & Scoobydoo has it also.

IMHO I see an improvement, sharper image.  ;D

i am using belden 7731A for the antenna cable to my lcd tv. also tried using 1694A as antenna cable.

imho, no discernible differences...

i think the thicker 7731A will be beneficial for longer runs( perhaps more than 10m). If short wiring is all u need, belden 1694a will suffice.

BTW, i read in the internet that the abovementioned beldens were used to transmit SDTV and HDTV broadcasts of sydney olympics all over australia in 2000. so u can trust these cables.

it compare to my samsung M61 seem to be quite big diff leh. i tot is the antenna point of cable that make the diff. using 1530A for my samsung now.

i just need about 1 meter bah. if plus the canare connector, will i b able to get it at abt $15 - 20?

Each canare connector is about $7.

You can do the maths.. ;)

For 1m cable, can also use 1505A (I think that's the no.).

Cheaper than the 1694A, but you probably only save $2.

hi!

think will go lhs tomorrow to chk out the cable. wan to c 7731A thickness and c how stiff it is. wan to wall mount my lcd and the cable need to be abit flexible as the lcd antenna input is on the left but the antenna outlet is at the top right of the lcd. so i dunno whether the cable can bend anot?

wan to go down look for power cord oso. last time bought a 19634 + MK hospital plug + Wattgate IEC. wan to chk wif u guys whether the IEC got come in L shape anot har? my sony lcd power input is from sideway and the fat wattgate IEC cant go in. so need to get L shape type.

Got.

I saw at the hardware stores in Sim Lim Tower, but LHS told me can't fit their power cable into those.

Maybe you try yourself and let us know?

for 7731A, the canare f connectors costs 10 bucks each

for 1694, canare f connectors costs 5 bucks each.... i know...why the diff right?, well the sheer thickness of 7731a requires the use of  different f-connectors..

dont worry..the connectors stick to the starhub cable point like glue ;)

as for the powercords, perhaps you could try the cheaper shurter IEC instead of the fat wattgate ones
