rahul Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 They were launched some time back. Precision Audio doesnt have them in stock currently. Edward mentioned that the BR2 model was slightly better than B2 but nothing in RS league :)
synthesis1624705793 Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 .... Edward mentioned that the BR2 model was slightly better than B2 but nothing in RS league :) Off course... it's stil Bronze, not Silver.. :)
Norman_Chan Posted January 31, 2007 Author Posted January 31, 2007 Think Bronze is a good entry level speaker ...I started with the B2 than B1 than mini-B than the RS-1 and the Silver Centre ....

2100 Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Hey, actually does anybody find MA speakers a bit on the bright side when hearing it at Precision Audio? Sibilance is quite unbearable due to tweeter breakup at higher volumes. To be fair, a whole bunch of speakers also voiced brightly nowadays.
Eric Teh Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 Yes - Ranging from bright to extremely bright. 2 reasons for this. Cayin tube amps are quite bright to begin with. I own one so I am saying this from experience. Secondly, Precision Audio does not have a habit of running in their speakers, and MA speakers take some time to break in their tweeters. I've owned 2 pairs of MAs before and they take quite long to settle in. Sadly, it also means that your audition there is likely to be an accurate representation of the speaker's abilities. On the plus side, if you like them at the showroom, you will like them even more once you buy them and break them in.
