Trunking to hide cables.

Are you looking for a particular type of trunking? If you just need the ordinary white PVC type, I just bought some recently at Homefix - can't remember the price but not much - I think less than S$5 for 3m? But you also need to buy double sided tape to attach.

The new type of trunking comes double sided tape at the back - so no need to buy the tape. You can get it from most DIY or hardware shops. Price-wise, I think sonofdbn is about right.

 

Also, I feel that the rectangular type is better for cables as it can hold more compared to the rounded one shown in your pic. I used it for both my power as well as HT cables.

Hmm, actually it does hold more because its rounded but I just want it because I tink they look nicer.

Is it possible Ikea will have these?

I think you can check those DIY stores. Ikea doesnt sell trunking

IKEA does sell trunking, but theirs is a small/thin one that can only hold, say, one coaxial cable or one speaker cable (not too fat type) only.

I've seen those arc type truking at Sungie road, cannot remember the name of shop thought.

it near the multi storey carpark area if you know where the laksa is ...

To add to my earlier thread after a closer look at the pic.

I remember buying somthing like this from Ikea many years ago.

the arc part is made of soft rubber where you can slip the cable into one side of the "trunking"

I don't think Ikea sell them any more.

 

The one I saw last weekend at sungie road electrical shop sells the normal trunking.

the arc type also come in a few sizes.
