Cam1624705756 Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Anyone following closely the day-by-day report? I have and I only wish I had enough leave to take and attend personally. All I can say is - if proven guilty, how on earth can they sleep soundly every night when such things are being done everyday? I really pity the unfortunates ie the patients and the medical staff.

There's some jobs in Sg where people r worldly overly paid , u r right ........... How can these people sleep in peace , i wonder............ As for d NKF saga , y bother wen its already going by d script.......... D pain & suffering it has caused can never heal, no matter wat happens in court :-\
cracker Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 is there way to obtain the transcript of the court proceeding ? I recalled last yr someone, either here or another forum, had posted the transcript of Davinder Singh cross-examing Durai.
Spunky Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 think no transcript as they negotiated in the judge's chamber.
Chowbotak Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 If scumbag Durai's misdeeds can lie hidden for so long, I shudder to think what other people in his kind of position can be up to behind the public's back! >:(
Quest88 Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 actually dun u think that he admit so that even worse things dun come to light?
Cam1624705756 Posted January 15, 2007 Author Posted January 15, 2007 Very true! What this has shown very vividly is that 'absolute power corrupts'. Whistle-blowing is supposed to take care of such misdeeds but the policy is still favours the employers. Not many would dare to whistle-blow. While it took the courage of the contractor to 'blow' this act out in the open, many of the old NKF's employees would have some inkling of the ongoings in the company but probably did not have the morale courage to whistle-blow. There needs to be more empowerment to employees.

Having a powderful 'lean mountain' at that time, who would want to disturb the hornet's nest? More so after a few examples had been stung /threatened even though they are awared of the truth.
f_spider Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 D timing of Youth Challenge massacre is questionable man............... Its making d NKF case cloudy , taking a back seat............... It seems deliberate.......... Compare to d NKF case, financially , this case's PEANUTS ;D
