Wilber Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 HD-DVD... you must have HD-DVD Player to play it.. DVD Player will not play HD-DVD.

kardtoon Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 What's the available brand od HD-DVD player in the mkt? Will HD-DVD be able to play normal DVD? In terms of pics quality and sound effect, which one is better? Thanks! Generally, they are similar. Some of the older Blu-ray disks are not well encoded and some of the older Blu-ray players are pretty bad but the newer ones (discs and players) seemed to have caught up. Blu-ray players are more expensive though, unless you get a PS3, which is a pretty good blu-ray player. HD-DVD and Blu-Ray discs/players are not compatible with each other.
