wwyjoe Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 dear all, i can't seem to backup dead man's chest (code 3) and poseidon (code 6) dvd for my media player. when i tried to rip with dvdshrink or decrypter, the ripping will just hang at ard 1%. (no error msg) issit because of copy protection or region issue? any other freeware software i could try? thanks

flanker Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 There's a new kind of anti "backup" software installed I believed the sw will try to simulate a CRC error, therefore during "backup" it will hang . Yr backup sw will be fooled to think there's an error during reading !! not even writing yet However during playback everything is normal
