zamus_aran Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Leonardo DiCaprio gets 2 nominations in the same category! First time this is happening in a major awards ceremony. I'm sure he'll be slapping himself if he loses. Looking forward to see Babel and Borat in local cinemas soon. Babel is supposed to be a similar-themed movie with 21 Grams, which I personally like. Borat is plain humour all the way. Great to see comedians like Sacha Cohen and Will Ferrell get nominated as Best Actor. It shows that comedians can be recognized and respected in their field of work too. I do feel that it is an injustice that William Monahan gets nominated for a best screenplay award for The Departed. Shouldn't the original Infernal Affairs screenwriter from Hong Kong receive some credit here?
